IntellectualMusician.com is a website built and maintained by musicians, for musicians. The basic idea is simple, gather a superior group of extremely talented and well educated musicians and give them an outlet to share their knowledge.
This is exactly what we decided to do.
The site itself currently has two main pillars:
The homepage is a collection of articles, lessons, and commentary on the craft of creating and performing music.
The forum is an on-line community that, as well as offering help and support to aspiring musicians, is a wonderful place to hang out and discuss music and life with people of similar interests.
There are also many other cool things in the works, such as video lessons, e-books, musical chat and messaging, musical networking, and other great features that we are constantly dreaming up.
So feel free to browse around the site, read the articles & lessons, sign up for the forum & post your questions, and just have fun with it!
And lastly, it’s important to note that all of this great information is completly free, and we promise to keep it that way, but in order to do so we need to be able to pay the bills -thus it you would be doing all of us a great favor by visiting some of our advertisers and maybe even supporting them a little bit too! 
Also, if you like what we have going on here, consider yourself to be a good musician, could use a little extra cash, and want to pitch in, we are always looking for upbeat and knowledgeable authors to write articles.
