Cellist, pianist, teacher and writer, I studied with some notables - including Janos Starker and Bernard Greenhouse in Canada, Indiana and NYC - and played for several years with the National Arts Centre Orchestra of Canada before settling in the UK. Here in London I continue to perform - recitals and chamber music - whilst maintaining a busy teaching practice both in schools and privately. Alongside my musical involvements I have always written and have recently finished a fictional memoir of Chopin's Scottish student, Jane Stirling.
